Key Responsibilities Operate lathe machines for turning, facing, drilling, and threading operations. Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications. Set up machines and select appropriate tools for machining operations. Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Maintain accuracy and quality during machining operations. Perform basic machine maintenance and report issues if any. Maintain production records and follow safety procedures on the shop floor. Required Skills Knowledge of lathe machine operations. Ability to read technical drawings. Familiarity with measuring instruments and machining tools. Attention to detail and quality control.
