Key Responsibilities Assemble, fit, and maintain press tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures. Perform tool repair, modification, and preventive maintenance. Read and interpret tool drawings and engineering specifications. Use precision measuring instruments for inspection and fitting activities. Assist in tool trials, troubleshooting, and process improvements. Ensure proper functioning of tools to minimize production downtime. Maintain tool room records and maintenance documentation. Follow safety and quality standards in the tool room. Required Skills Strong knowledge of tool room fitting and maintenance activities. Ability to read engineering and tool drawings. Familiarity with measuring instruments, hand tools, and workshop machines. Knowledge of press tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
