Key Responsibilities Operate conventional lathe (turning) machines to produce precision components. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Perform turning, facing, drilling, threading, boring, and finishing operations. Select appropriate cutting tools, machine settings, and measuring instruments. Inspect finished components using Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other measuring tools. Ensure components meet dimensional and quality specifications. Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized. Follow safety procedures and maintain production records. Coordinate with production and quality teams to achieve production targets. Required Skills Strong knowledge of conventional lathe machine operations.
