Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities, develop vendors, and ensure timely availability of materials at the optimum cost. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, supplier negotiations, purchase order management, and maintaining smooth coordination with production and stores.

Key Responsibilities Handle RFQs (Request for Quotations) and evaluate supplier quotations. Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors. Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers. Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) and track order execution. Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, components, and consumables to support production. Monitor supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery. Coordinate with production, planning, stores, and quality departments to maintain material availability. Support cost reduction initiatives through vendor development and alternate sourcing. Maintain procurement records, purchase documentation, and MIS reports. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. Required Skills Strong knowledge of procurement, vendor development, and purchase processes. Experience in RFQ preparation, supplier negotiation, and PO management. Good understanding of invento
