Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities, vendor development, and material planning for manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, negotiating with suppliers, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely material availability while optimizing cost and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Source and procure raw materials, components, and consumables as per production requirements. Float RFQs (Request for Quotations), evaluate supplier quotations, and finalize vendors. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial agreements with suppliers. Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order execution. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing vendors. Coordinate with production, planning, stores, and quality departments to ensure uninterrupted material supply. Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery. Identify alternate sources and implement cost-saving initiatives through vendor development. Maintain procurement records, purchase documentation, and MIS reports.
