Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Supplier Development Quality (SDQ) Engineer to ensure supplier quality, develop vendor capabilities, and maintain high standards for purchased materials and components. The candidate will be responsible for supplier audits, quality improvement initiatives, new supplier development, and ensuring compliance with customer and industry quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Develop and qualify new suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Conduct supplier quality audits, process audits, and capability assessments. Monitor supplier performance using quality metrics such as PPM, rejection rates, and on-time delivery. Resolve supplier quality issues through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Ensure suppliers comply with PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and 8D methodologies. Perform incoming material inspections and coordinate with suppliers to resolve non-conformities. Work closely with the purchase, production, and quality teams to improve supplier quality and reduce defects. Drive supplier development programs for continuous quality and process improvement. Maintain supplier quality documentation, audit reports, and performance records. Support customer audits and ensure compliance with ISO/IATF 16949 quality standards.
