Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inward Quality Engineer to inspect and verify incoming raw materials, components, and purchased parts to ensure they meet quality standards and engineering specifications. The candidate will be responsible for incoming material inspection, supplier quality coordination, documentation, and preventing non-conforming materials from entering production.

Key Responsibilities Perform incoming inspection of raw materials, purchased components, and vendor-supplied parts. Verify materials against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Dial Indicator, and Surface Plate for inspection. Identify and segregate non-conforming materials and initiate corrective actions with suppliers. Coordinate with the Purchase, Stores, Production, and Supplier Quality teams to resolve quality issues. Maintain Incoming Inspection Reports (IIR), NCRs, quality records, and inspection documentation. Ensure compliance with PPAP, Control Plans, Inspection Standards, and ISO/IATF quality requirements. Monitor supplier quality performance and support supplier improvement activities. Participate in internal and external quality audits when required.
