Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Production to lead manufacturing operations, manage production manpower, and ensure smooth execution of production activities. The candidate should have hands-on experience in welding processes, robot handling, laser machines, SAP PP module, and IATF 16949/2016 standards while driving productivity, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Plan, monitor, and control daily production activities to achieve production targets. Lead and manage shop floor manpower, shift planning, and resource allocation. Ensure smooth operation of robotic welding cells, laser cutting machines, and welding processes. Monitor production efficiency and implement actions to improve productivity and reduce downtime. Ensure compliance with IATF 16949:2016, quality standards, and customer requirements. Investigate production issues and perform 8D problem-solving and root cause analysis. Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Purchase, and Stores for smooth production flow. Monitor production KPIs, machine utilization, rejection rates, and OEE. Maintain production records and update production data in the SAP PP Module. Drive 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor. Ensure adherence to safety policies and standard operating procedures.
