Job Summary:
The Quality Control Engineer (Fabrication) is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control processes and procedures throughout the fabrication lifecycle, from raw material receipt to finished product delivery. This role involves rigorous inspection, testing, and documentation to ensure adherence to engineering specifications, industry standards (e.g., ASME, AWS, ISO), and customer requirements.
2 The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of welding, metallurgy, NDT, and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities: · Quality Planning & Documentation: · Inspection & Testing: · Non-Conformance Management & Corrective Actions: · Process Improvement & Compliance: · Supplier Quality & Client communication Technical Skills: o In-depth knowledge of welding processes (e.g., SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW) and associated defects. o Strong understanding of metallurgy and material properties used in fabrication. o Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T). o Experience with various NDT methods (UT, RT, MT, PT) and relevant certifications (e.g., ASNT Level II). o Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASME Section VIII, AWS D1.1. o Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), particularly ISO 9001. o Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and other quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Man
