Key Responsibilities Develop, monitor, and optimize welding processes to achieve quality and productivity targets. Perform process validation and qualification for various welding operations. Prepare and maintain WPS (Welding Procedure Specification), PQR (Procedure Qualification Record), and WPQ (Welder Performance Qualification) documentation. Conduct and coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and mechanical testing of welded joints. Perform weld penetration tests, macro/micro examination, and sample preparation for quality validation. Analyze welding defects and implement corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 quality standards and customer requirements. Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to improve welding performance and reduce rejection. Prepare quality reports, welding documentation, and inspection records. Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives related to welding processes.
