Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Surface Grinder Operator to operate surface grinding machines for precision finishing of metal components. The candidate will be responsible for machine setup, grinding operations, dimensional inspection, and maintaining high-quality standards while achieving production targets.

Key Responsibilities Operate Surface Grinding Machines to achieve the required surface finish and dimensional accuracy. Set up workpieces, fixtures, grinding wheels, and machine parameters as per job requirements. Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and technical specifications. Select suitable grinding wheels, speeds, and feeds based on material and job requirements. Perform precision grinding while maintaining specified tolerances and surface finish. Inspect finished components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, Slip Gauges, and Surface Roughness Tester (if applicable). Dress and balance grinding wheels for optimum machine performance. Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance. Identify machining defects and report machine abnormalities to the supervisor. Maintain production records and follow 5S, safety, and quality standards.
