Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Tool Room Fitter to assemble, repair, maintain, and service press tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and precision tooling used in manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring tool availability, minimizing breakdowns, and maintaining tooling accuracy to support uninterrupted production.
Location: Nanekarwadi, Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra

Key Responsibilities Assemble, fit, repair, and maintain press tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges. Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of tool room equipment and tooling. Read and interpret tool drawings, assembly drawings, and engineering specifications. Carry out tool setting, alignment, fitting, polishing, and bench work. Inspect tool components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, and Slip Gauges. Identify worn or damaged tool parts and carry out repairs or replacements. Coordinate with Production, Design, and Quality departments for tool modifications and improvements. Support new tool trials, tool development, and production start-up activities. Maintain tool history records, maintenance logs, and spare parts inventory. Follow 5S, TPM, and safety standards within the tool room.
