Job Title: In-charge – Machine Shop
Experience: Minimum 8-10 years
Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech)
Software Skills:
1. Only Knowledge of 2D/3D Programming
2. MS Excel
3. CNC/VMC Machine Knowledge
4. 5S
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manpower Planning & Load Management:
o Plan and allocate shift-wise manpower for two shifts to ensure optimal machine
utilization.
2. Workload Utilization:
o Ensure continuous workload for 100% utilization of machine shop resources and
personnel.
3. Scheduling & Delivery:
o Ensure all machining jobs are delivered as per the schedule. Report on shift-wise
output to management on a weekly basis.
o Maintain and monitor Excel reports for machining hours, cost, and challan value.
4. Project and Spare Material Monitoring:
o Monitor shift-wise output for projects and spares materials based on priority.
o Track and closely monitor Plan vs. Actual metrics.
5. Breakdown Management:
o Attend to machine breakdowns as a top priority to restore machine operation as
quickly as possible.

6. Cycle Time Reduction:

o Continuously work on cycle time reduction for all bottleneck operations by adopting
the best machining techniques, advanced tooling, jigs, and fixtures.

7. Dispatch & Delivery:
o Ensure timely dispatch of finished jobs within the agreed timelines.

Performance Targets:
 Maintain OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) above 85%.
