Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled VMC Boring Operator to operate Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines for precision boring and other machining operations. The candidate will be responsible for machine setup, tool selection, offset adjustments, component inspection, and ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved.

Key Responsibilities: Operate VMC machines for boring, drilling, milling, tapping, and other machining operations. Set up the machine, fixtures, tools, and workpieces as per job requirements. Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances. Load and unload components safely and accurately. Set tool offsets, work offsets, and machining parameters. Monitor machining operations and make necessary offset corrections. Check bore diameter, depth, and other critical dimensions using bore gauges, micrometers, vernier calipers, and other instruments. Monitor tool wear and replace tools when required. Identify machining defects and report quality or machine-related issues. Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic machine care and lubrication. Follow production schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures.
