Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled HMC Operator to operate and monitor Horizontal Machining Centre (HMC) machines for precision machining of components. The candidate will be responsible for machine setup, tool handling, offset adjustments, inspection, and ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved.

Key Responsibilities: Operate HMC machines as per production and machining requirements. Set up the machine, fixtures, tools, and workpieces correctly. Load and unload components safely and accurately. Read and understand engineering drawings and machining specifications. Set and adjust tool offsets, work offsets, and cutting parameters. Monitor machining operations and make necessary corrections. Check component dimensions using vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, and other measuring instruments. Ensure components meet required dimensional accuracy and surface-finish standards. Identify tool wear, machine abnormalities, and machining defects. Coordinate with the production and quality teams to resolve machining issues. Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic machine care and lubrication. Follow production schedules, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
