Key Responsibilities Handle day-to-day purchase and procurement activities. Source raw materials, components, consumables, and other required materials. Identify and develop reliable suppliers and vendors. Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate rates, and finalize suppliers. Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements. Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials. Coordinate with Stores, Production, PPC, Quality, Accounts, and Dispatch departments. Monitor pending purchase orders and ensure material availability as per production schedules. Verify supplier quotations, invoices, delivery schedules, and payment terms. Maintain purchase records, supplier databases, quotations, and order status. Handle supplier quality and delivery-related issues in coordination with the Quality and Production teams. Support vendor evaluation, development, and performance monitoring. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly purchase MIS reports.
