Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer with hands-on experience in sheet metal production to manage and monitor shop-floor manufacturing activities. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, optimizing processes, managing manpower and machines, and ensuring products are manufactured according to quality and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities Plan and monitor daily sheet metal production activities as per production schedules. Supervise shop-floor operations including press shop, bending, fabrication, welding, laser cutting, and assembly. Ensure production targets are achieved within the required quality and delivery timelines. Monitor manpower, machine utilization, material availability, and production efficiency. Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Purchase departments. Monitor production rejection, rework, downtime, and material wastage. Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions. Ensure proper machine setup, tooling, fixtures, and process parameters. Maintain production records, shift reports, and daily production MIS.
