We are looking for an experienced Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities for engineering and manufacturing requirements. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, vendor development, price negotiation, purchase orders, and ensuring timely availability of materials as per production requirements.

Key Responsibilities Handle purchase and procurement of raw materials, components, consumables, and engineering items. Identify, evaluate, and develop suitable suppliers and vendors. Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate rates, and finalize suppliers. Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) as per requirements. Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery and resolve supply issues. Coordinate with Production, PPC, Stores, Quality, and Accounts for material requirements. Monitor pending POs and ensure material availability as per production schedules. Coordinate with Quality for supplier quality issues and corrective actions. Maintain supplier records, quotations, POs, and purchase documentation. Prepare purchase-related MIS reports and monitor procurement costs. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support vendor performance evaluation. Required Skills Good knowledge of Purchase, Procurement, and Vendor Management.
